Video : What is leishmaniasis ?

Declared as an emerging disease, leishmaniasis is an infection caused by a parasite that is transmitted by the bite of a fly that feeds on blood. It affects humans and animals and causes serious skin lesions. In its most severe form called visceral leishmaniasis, it can be fatal.
