Stimulating the brain increases immunity !

According to researchers at the Israel Institute of technology, the stimulation of the brain’s reward centre in mice improves the body’s capacity to defend itself against diseases. This stimulation allows immune cells exposed to Escherichia coli bacteria to double in effectiveness against infections. The team is now looking for substance that could have the same effect.
