The secrets of one of the most effective vaccines

The vaccine against yellow fever, discovered in 1930 is one of the most effective vaccines in the world. Work on human cells, might have identified why:  it could be linked to a specific capacity of the virus strain used for the vaccine to enter cells and stay there. If this hypothesis is verified in animal models, it might be possible to make very effective vaccines against dengue fever and Zika, who are close relatives of the yellow fever virus.
