Parkinson’s : a better model to study the disease

What are the distinctive markers of Parkinson’s disease? They are protein deposits in neurons in the brain called Lewy bodies. For the first time, EPFL researchers have created a mouse model and an in vitro cell model that mimic these Lewy bodies and the evolution of Parkinson’s disease more accurately.
