A new molecule against cancer?

INSERM researchers may have discovered a drug against cancer. A substance named HA15 was toxic to human cancer cells from melanoma biopsies as well as on lines of breast, colon, prostate, pancreas cancer tumour cells, as well as gliomas and leukemias. Tests conducted in mice have shown strong anti-tumour activity without apparent toxicity. The project is ongoing.
