The insecticides of tomorrow

Thanks to the European initiative called JHRECEPTOR “it will soon be possible to develop new environmentally friendly pesticides,” based on the insects’ juvenile hormones. These findings will contribute to the design of environmentally friendly insecticides that will not affect beneficial insects. The new compounds could be adopted in the future by chemical industries.
