CRISPR-Cas9 : an Accelerator of brain disease research

CNRS The journal published an article on the impact of the new genetic engineering technology CRISPR-Cas9 on neurological disease research. Using clinical samples and animal models (mice, fish), CRISPR-Cas9 accelerates discoveries on genetic profiles of brain diseases and the gene therapy trials. This acceleration will require raising ethical issues about the use of these technologies on humans, sooner than thought.
