Birds with more neurons than primates

Macaws, Zebra Finches, Emus… These birds all have something in common: they have twice the amount of neurons than primates have, for the same brain mass; which gives them surprising cognitive abilities! This observation is even more marked in parrots and corvids, which have even more neurones in their forebrains, the area of the brain involved in intelligence.
